On March 18, 2013, the Judicial Conference published the new debt limits to become effective April 1, 2013. The Chapter 13 limits go up to:
Unsecured - $383,175
Secured - $1,149,525
|New Chapter 13 Plan - revised April 2012 - Monday, May 14, 2012|
The Bankrupcy Judges of the Southern District of Texas have adopted amendments to the standard chapter 13 plan for use in the Southern District of Texas. Effective immediately, the new form of plan must be used.

Effective 12/1/2011, this Notice of Mortgage Payment Change is to be filed at least 21 days before the payments in the new amount are due. This applies to any claim secured by a security interest in the debtor's principal residence.

This letter notes that the amount of post petition borrowing that the Trustee can approve without court order has increased to $5,000. Please send the new form to the Trustee's office. Also, the Trustee will begin using 8% as the maximum trustee fee for feasibility testing.
